The Smilen started with four kids, one bathroom, and a nightly battle that never seemed to end.

From Brushing Battles to Brushing Wins

We adopted four children and quickly discovered that getting kids to brush their teeth — really brush, properly, every day — was one of the hardest parts of parenting.

We tried everything. Charts, stickers, timers, bribes. Some things worked for a week. Nothing stuck.


So we built The Smilen. A countertop touchscreen adventure game where Gary leads kids through the Tooth Kingdom every morning and night, catching Cavity Critters and brushing their way toward Enamel City. We made brushing the part of the day they actually look forward to.

We built it for our kids. Now we're sharing it with yours.
